What it is
I was trying to teach my kid about how the U.S. progressive tax system works and wanted to illustrate it. I couldn’t find a good tool out there to demonstrate how it works, so I wrote Tax Visualizer.
This tool takes in your filing status, income, deductions, and credits and shows you what amounts of your income go into each tax bracket, as well as calculating your overall tax rate. It also allows you to share your results with others.
